These rights are characterized by the following:

  • Exercising these rights is free, unless the requests are clearly unfounded or excessive (e.g., repetitive), in which case BEDITAS may charge a reasonable fee for the administrative costs incurred or refuse to act.
  • You may exercise these rights directly or through a legal or voluntary representative.
  • We must respond to your request within one month, although if the complexity or volume of requests requires it, the deadline may be extended by an additional two months.
  • We are required to inform you about how to exercise these rights, and the methods must be accessible, without denying you the right to use other methods. If the request is made electronically, the information will be provided electronically, unless you request another format.
  • If BEDITAS does not fulfill your request, we will inform you within one month of the reasons for not taking action and the option to file a complaint with a Supervisory Authority.

In both cases, you must verify your identity by providing a photocopy or, if applicable, a scanned copy of your ID card or an equivalent document to ensure that we are only responding to the data subject or their legal representative. In the case of a legal representative, proof of representation must also be provided.

Additionally, if you believe your rights have not been fully satisfied, we inform you that you can file a complaint with the national supervisory authority by contacting the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), located at C/ Jorge Juan, 6 – 28001 Madrid ( www.aepd.es ).

What security measures do we have in place?

At BEDITAS, we are committed to protecting your personal information.

We use reliable and effective physical, organizational, and technological measures, controls, and procedures designed to preserve the integrity and security of your data and ensure your privacy.

Furthermore, all personnel with access to personal data have been trained and are aware of their obligations regarding the processing of your personal data.

In the contracts we sign with our suppliers, we include clauses requiring them to maintain confidentiality regarding personal data they have access to due to the work carried out, as well as to implement the necessary technical and organizational security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and ongoing resilience of personal data processing systems and services.

All these security measures are periodically reviewed to ensure their appropriateness and effectiveness.

However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed, and no security system is impervious. In the event that any information under our control is compromised due to a security breach, we will take the appropriate measures to investigate the incident, notify the Supervisory Authority, and, if applicable, inform affected users so that they can take the necessary actions.

COOKIES POLICY

Basic Information about cookies

  • What users should know about cookies

Cookies are small files that store information on the devices of Users who visit our website.

Cookies are associated with the browser of a specific computer or device. Thanks to them, BEDITAS can recognize the Users’ browsers, determine their browsing preferences, and use this information to assess the User’s preferences. This helps us improve our service offerings.

  • Acceptance of Cookies at BEDITAS

The Spanish Law 34/2002, dated July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI), requires that Users are informed in advance about the use, type, and purpose of cookies before they begin browsing the platform. This is why we have implemented a notification that appears when the User accesses our website, informing them in advance. It gives Users the option to choose which cookies they want to accept and provides express consent, thereby meeting the criteria set by the European Data Protection Board and the Guide on the Use of Cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) in July 2020.

Detailed information on cookies

  • Technical or functional cookies: These cookies allow users to navigate through a website, platform, or application and use the different options or services available. They include those used by the website owner to enable the operation of the website and its functions, such as controlling data traffic and communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering items in a shopping cart, processing orders, managing payments, controlling fraud related to service security, requesting registration or participation in an event, counting visits for licensing purposes of the software running the service (website, platform, or application), using security elements during browsing, storing content for video or audio distribution, enabling dynamic content (e.g., loading animations of text or images), or sharing content via social media.

This category also includes cookies that manage advertising spaces in the most efficient way possible. These spaces are part of the design or “layout” of the service provided to the user, where content is selected based on editing criteria, and no user data is collected for other purposes such as personalizing that advertising content.

*Technical cookies are exempt from the obligations established in Article 22.2 of the LSSI when they are used to provide the service requested by the user, as happens with the cookies listed above. However, if these cookies are also used for non-exempt purposes (e.g., behavioral advertising), they will be subject to these obligations.

  • Preference or personalization cookies: These cookies remember information so that the user can access the service with specific characteristics that may differentiate their experience from that of other users, such as language, the number of search results displayed, the appearance or content of the service based on the type of browser used, or the region from which the service is accessed.

*If the user chooses these characteristics (e.g., selecting a website’s language by clicking on the corresponding country’s flag), the cookies are exempt from the obligations of Article 22.2 of the LSSI as they are considered a service explicitly requested by the user, provided the cookies are only used for the selected purpose.

  • Analysis or measurement cookies: These cookies enable the website owner to track and analyze user behavior on the website, including quantifying the impact of advertisements. The information collected by these cookies is used to measure website activity and introduce improvements based on the analysis of user data.

*Although these cookies are not exempt from the need to obtain informed consent for their use, the GT29 has stated that they are unlikely to pose a privacy risk for users as long as they are first-party cookies, process aggregated data for strictly statistical purposes, provide information about their use, and include an option for users to opt-out of their use.

  • Behavioral advertising cookies: These cookies store information about user behavior obtained by continuously monitoring their browsing habits, enabling the development of a specific profile for showing personalized advertisements based on that profile.
